A centrally located five star luxury hotel in London is looking for a Sous Chef Banqueting (m/f) to join the kitchen team.
The hotel features more than 300 rooms, meeting space for up to 400 guests, and 2 exclusive restaurants.
Your main duties willl include:
- asssiting the Head Chef in a smooth running of the banquet departement
- replacing the Head Chef during absence
- daily supervision, preparation and service of all food for any kinds of events and private dining
- ensuring the high quality standards and a smooth running of the banqueting kitchen
- managing, training and supervising of staff
- cost control
- assistance in orderung, purchasing, inventory, duty rotas, holiday planning
Anforderungsprofil
- successfully completed apprenticeship as chef
- previous working experience in a similar environment / in large operations is a must
- international experience is of advantage
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- teamplayer
- able to work under pressure
- very good command of English
